Myung-Jin Jun is a professor in Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University in Korea in 1987 and University of Southern California (USC) in U.S. in 1994 from which he got both master and doctoral degree in Urban Planning. He worked as a transportation planner in Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) for 4 years between 1990 and 1994, one of largest metropolitan planning organization (MPO) in U.S. He has been working in Chung-Ang University for 23 years since 1994. He has been a visiting professor to University of Southern California in U.S. in 2002 and 2009, and taught Urban Transportation Planning at USC. His fields of specialization include urban economics, land use and transportation, and urban analysis methods. He served as the dean of graduate school of industrial management in Chung-Ang University between 2007 and 2008. He has served as the chief editor of the Journal of Korea Planning Association between 2015 and 2017. He has published more than 100 papers in the domestic and international refereed journals, as well as conference proceedings.
