About Department of Urban Planning and Real Estate?
The Department of Community Development, which later became the Department of Urban Planning and Real Estate, launched graduate program in 1979 with master degree and Ph.D. degree program three years later in 1982. The Department was renamed Regional Development in 1995, and then Urban and Regional Planning in 1999. The Department was finally given the current title, Urban Planning and Real Estate, in 2011.

In today's diversified and complex society, urban planning and real estate management require a wide spectrum of specialized knowledge and expertise. Our curriculum covers not only urban planning issues but also real estate valuation, development, finance & investment, management and other topics. Maintaining partnership with the Cleveland State University, US, the Department offers unique opportunities for its graduate students to pursue dual degrees from CAU and the US institution.
Educational Goals
The CAU Graduate Program in Urban Planning and Real Estate has more than 30 years of experience in training professionals. We will continue to train our students in the manner that increases their chances to succeed in various urban planning and real estate fields.
